When our Enhanced Cabling Link products are installed by an RDNP Certified Mission Critical Installer, we will warrant a minimum link ACR value of 12.4 dB @ 100 MHz, with a 15 nanoseconds maximum link skew.

That’s a guaranteed 4.7 dB margin of headroom over the TIA/EIA standard requirements. This added margin of performance reduces the probability of network transmission errors and system downtime. The end result is that you have installed a cabling system that will support future applications ratified by ANSI, TIA/EIA, IEEE, The ATM Forum, or ISO, that are designed to operate over a TIA/EIA category 5 cabling system. In addition, the guaranteed maximum link skew of 15 nsec supports the parallel transmission scheme technologies being evaluated to allow category 5 UTP cables to support data rates up to 1Gbps.

Hubbell Premise Wiring has a global network of Mission Critical Installers that can design, install, test, and certify your Enhanced Hubbell-Prestolite cabling system. Our Mission Critical Installers must complete a comprehensive two day training program covering design, installation, and testing. The program also provides participants with credit towards renewal of RCDD designation upon successful completion.

Mission Critical Warranty 15 Year Coverage

When you invest in a Hubbell-Prestolite Enhanced Link, we warrant (1) a minimum Link ACR performance of 12.4 dB @ 100 MHz, (2) that our system will support current and future applications ratified by IEEE, ANSI, or ISO/IEC that are developed for a TIA/EIA approved category 5 unshielded twisted pair cabling system, and (3) connecting hardware and cable coverage against defects in material or workmanship including parts and labor, for a fifteen year period from the date of installation.
