Hubbell Canada – Lighting Division is pleased to introduce the 4 th member in the Columbia Lighting createchange™ Quartet - the EnergyMax™ Intersect™ Full Distribution Luminaire.

EnergyMax™ Intersect™ (EMI) is a 2-lamp, high efficiency, energy efficient, louvered luminaire designed to provide full distribution and energy savings in a crisp new look. As with other EnergyMax™ energy saving products, Intersect™?s ballast is tuned to provide the perfect balance between light output and energy use. Intersect™ Plus uses the same tuned system with 28 watt T8 lamps to provide an even greater energy savings.

As full distribution luminaires continue to penetrate the parabolic market, EnergyMax™ Intersect™ provides an alternative with a real difference. Not only does its full distribution provide light at higher angles on the walls than parabolics, its louvered design provides higher foot candles on the work surface than traditional full distribution fixtures which use lenses to shield the lamps and redirect the light.

With EnergyMax™ products you always get great energy savings. At 66 watts the EnergyMax™ Intersect™ uses 22% less energy than a 3-lamp parabolic using 85 watts. Intersect™ Plus uses only 55 watts producing an energy savings of 35%. Additionally, the EnergyMax™ Intersect™ meets the most stringent Lighting Power Density (LPD) code requirements.
